The Enterprise SIG: Welcome PageWelcome to the CETIS (Centre for Educational Technology Interoperability Standards) Enterprise SIG
(Special Interest Group). The SIG is a community of practice for people doing any of the following:
The Enterprise SIG holds 4 meetings a year, in different locations around the UK. The meetings are free, and anyone is welcome. Presentations from previous meetings are online. Between meetings, communication is conducted via a JISCMail discussion list. You may also wish to join the SIG. The IMS Enterprise Specification defines data formats to enable educational systems such as VLEs, Student Record Systems and Library Management Systems to exchange data such as student enrolment details and exam results. The new IMS Enterprise Services Specification defines how to exchange this data. Last SIG MeetingThe 14th Enterprise SIG Meeting was held jointly with the Portfolio SIG. Presentations now online. Forthcoming SIG MeetingsThe 15th CETIS Enterprise SIG meeting will be held in December 2006. The 16th SIG meeting will be held on Wednesday May 3rd in Glasgow, and will be a joint meeting with the JISC-CETIS Assessment SIG.
