SIG meetings

SIG meetings are open to anyone with an interest in educational metadata and digital repository interoperability standards. They are free to attend and take place quarterly. The aim of holding these meetings is to provide an update on the development and uptake of MDR standards and specs, and to allow discussion of issues relating to these. Meetings are are advertised primarily through the SIG mail list.

Last meeting: 12 October 2006, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (Court and Senate Rooms)

The aim of the day was to explore the similarities in requirements and possible solutions between item banks and more traditional digital repositories.
